This chalet hotel is in Courchevel 1850.

- Fantastic location in 1850 resort centre, just two minutes' walk (200m) from La Croisette
- Skiing virtually to and from the doorstep
- 'Loze' piste just along the street, leading to Plantrey chairlift
- Comfortable bedrooms, all with private en suite bath or shower and wc, most with balcony
- Attractive restaurant
- Cosy lounge area and bar with WiFi

La Croisette is the lively epicentre of 1850 next to the World Cup slalom stadium, where all the main ski-lifts start, the ski-school meets, and skiers throng to the après ski bars.

The recognised absolute best place to stay, is not right in the midst of this hustle and bustle, but a convenient 2-minute walk away at the Coq de Bruyère!

From here, you have a choice of bars, restaurants and everything that 1850 has to offer conveniently close at hand, (including the ski-hire shop right next door). In addition, there is extremely easy access to the slopes, with the Loze piste literally just metres away.

Ski Area Access

Just across the street from the hotel, barely 30m walk away, is the edge of the 'Loze' piste, which is an easy green run suitable for all skiers, leading quickly to the Plantrey chairlift, or on to Courchevel 1550. You can also connect to the 'Brigues' red run all the way down to Le Praz 1300 if you wish.

Alternatively, you can walk approximately two minutes down to La Croisette, and take your pick of the main high-speed lifts from here.

At the end of your ski day, you can ski back to the same point you started from on the 'Loze' piste, and simply cross the street to the hotel and your welcoming afternoon tea.

If you have been skiing down in Le Praz, you can also take the gondola from 1300, which stops approximately one minute's walk along the piste from the Coq de Bruyère.

Comfortable Hotel Facilities

The open-plan lounge and bar area with its open fireplace, is the ideal place to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink in the evenings. There is also a small separate DVD lounge or 'snug', providing additional space to relax.

The attractive dining-room opens off the bar, and provides the perfect setting for our skiers' buffet breakfast and 'Culinary Choice' evening meals.

All the bedrooms have private en suite facilities, with a choice of showers or baths and wc, and many also have a balcony. The third bed in the triple rooms is suitable only for a child under 13 years.

For six days of the week the chalet staff prepare all your meals, as described below. On their one day off, they will prepare a Continental-style breakfast for you to help yourselves, and that evening you can eat out in one of the local restaurants.

Provided will be cereals, fresh fruit and juices, yoghurts, plentiful English tea and good filter coffee, bread ( plus croissants or 'pains au chocolat' in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. We also cook a hot dish of the day 6 days of the week, such as sausage and bacon or pancakes with fresh fruit, individually served.

Afternoon Tea:
The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you, ready for your return, every day except on the staff’s day off. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake and keeps hungry skiers happy until dinner is ready.

A tasty and innovative, freshly cooked dinner will be prepared for you six nights per week by your chalet host - or by a qualified chef in larger chalets - and served with a choice of wines. Wine is unlimited during the meal service.

Our four-course dinners start with canapés and an aperitif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert and coffee with chocolates.

Vegetarian options are always on our 'Culinary Choice' menu in our Chalet Hotels, and are available in our chalets if you advise us in advance.

Other special diets can generally be catered for at a cost of £35 per person per week. Any dietary requirements must be advised to us at the time of booking in order for us to be fully prepared

Children and High Tea:
Chalets do not allow children (under 13 years) to stay, unless you have booked a chalet hotel, a whole chalet for your exclusive use, it is a peak holiday week or this has been agreed in writing prior to booking. If this is the case, the following applies:

Children’s High Tea is provided at 5.30pm as the main evening meal, and is tailored more towards children’s normal tastes than our adult-only dinner menu, and includes plentiful soft drinks. Children under 13 are not permitted to join the adult dinner unless you have booked this chalet for your exclusive use, when the choice of dining separately or together is entirely up to you - please let us know at the time of booking. For children receiving a child discount, there is a £39 supplement to upgrade from child meals to the adult menu.

Please note: ski carriage (supplement required) is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Other supplements may apply.

The prices shown are per person per week and are based on two people sharing a standard room. We can advise on flights, if not included - please call for details.
